THE TERRIFYING REALITY OF ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS
SWEET & LOW [SACCHARIN PRODUCTS]
The primary substance found in saccharin is benzoic sulfinide a compound that
causes cancer in laboratory animals and has
remained on the US governments list of suspected carcinogens for over 20 years.
NUTRASWEET & EQUAL [ASPARTAME PRODUCTS]
Aspartame [Aka- NutraSweet/Equal] is made by combining two amino acids with methanol and is Americas number one artificial sweetener appearing in over 6,000 products including 99% of chewing gum and children’s medicine.
When this sweetener is combined with the enzyme chymotrypsin in the small intestine, methanol is released and breaks down into formaldehyde [Aka-Embalming fluid]
and is then metabolized as formic acid [a potent neurotoxin found in ant sting venom.]
The US Environmental Protection Agency considers methanol to be a 'cumulative poison' and recommends a safe consumption of no more than 7.8 mg per day.
If you drink a one-litre beverage containing aspartame, your body creates seven times that amount - about 56 mg of methanol.
According to the FDAs Adverse Reaction Monitoring System, approximately 75 percent of all complaints received about food additives are aspartame-related: 3 out of every 4! And yet the FDA still refuses to acknowledge the evidence that aspartame could be endangering public health.
Aspartame contains phenylalanine a chemical that occurs naturally in the brain,
But in high levels has been linked to body tremors, nervous ticks, and seizures and can lead to depression and or schizophrenia.
Listed below is just a few of the ninety-two aspartame side effects listed by the FDA:
Memory loss, nerve cell damage, migraines, reproductive disorders, mental confusion, depression, birth defects, brain lesions, blindness joint pain, Alzheimer’s, cancer, nervous system disorders, hair loss, food cravings, and weight gain.
SPLENDA [SUCRALOSE PRODUCTS]
Splenda is made by chlorinating sugar, changing its molecular structure.
The finished product is something called sucralose.
Sucralose has been found to cause organ, genetic, immune, and reproductive system damage;
swelling of the liver and kidneys; and a decrease in fetal body weight which is not surprising considering that it contains heavy metals such as arsenic.
